.I sent out a administrators letter regarding the Yahoo group ‘site’. This facility has been problematic for our Australian friends as they can not get easy access to it – I think it could be something to do with it being on Yahoo Uk not Yahoo.com ?
This was one of the reasons I took the decision to use the WordPress CMS (content management system), as it enables a membership facility (unfortunately called ‘users’ but never mind) who can subscribe and contribute to the site. Not only adding valuable content but also enriching the world of the Schipperke.
It also helps educate inform owners of the breed, maybe even sell a few puppies if we are lucky.
The SchipperkesUK Yahoo Group site is still available for a while, and can stay up and running as it’s own entity. Although I shall not be adding any content to it myself, and photographs will be added on this site.

.Well I do not know where I got the energy from – probably the ‘turkish delight’ I was treated to after dinner tonight – but we are now up and running. I am confident that this site is going to develop into something we can all feel proud of.
A place to celebrate our beloved Schipperke.
Unlike the previous site which was “static” and only allowed one person to update it (me) 
this site is “dynamic” which means interactive. It is powered by WordPress which is used by the likes of Wylclef Jean the singer and the Oscar winning actress Jane Fonda, for their blog sites, so we are in pretty good company. I have been working with WordPress sites for a while now, and I think they have a lot to offer us as you can become a contributer and post your own stories on Talking ‘Schipperke’ including adding pictures. It is VERY EASY to do, contact me for more info.

Welcome to new look site

.Hi , sorry the site has been down for a while, I have been moving the site to our bigger server and installing a different content management system which means more schipperke enthusiasts can contribute easily to the site. If you would like to be a contributer to the site contact me and I will add you to the users list. Bear with me for a while though, it may be a week or so until I get it ready to unleash to the world!
